Vintage quilt

I recently combined my passion of painting with some hand stitching, quilting and came up with this Vintage style quilt.

The painting is done using
Jo Sonja's artist colours and Textile Medium.
The young girl in the second row is a photo of my Mum as a child.

Hey Anna! WOW! Your quilt looks FABULOUS! What a lovely keepsake quilt to have - love the big hat with the feather, but it wouldn't have been very practical on windy days like we've been having! Tee! Hee! Hee! Thanks for sharing the peek - Bear Hugs! KRIS

Hi Kerryanne,
Oh, You are sooo sweeet. Now, I just have to work out how and what to do with this award.
You know I have learner plates on.

Hi Anna!
Your quilt is stunning!!!! Did it take you long to make? It really is beautiful. I still have my P plates on too! It's all very exciting, but a steep learning curve too, isn't it? Your blog is looking great! Warm wishes, Vikki :-)
