Craft & Quilt Fair

Hi, thanks for stopping in for a visit.
This is one of my latest pieces.  Lots of Faux Backgrounds using a variety of different Jo Sonja Mediums, on a large canvas.
Are you going to the Craft & Quilt Fair.
Its on in Melbourne starting Thursday, 22nd July.
I'll be there on Friday morning demonstrating at the BFDA stand, E18 then helping my friend Rachel conduct a Make and Take workshop in Craft Circle 3 at 12.30pm
If you are at the show on Friday, please stop by and say Hello.  I'd love to meet some more blogging friends!

I'm really getting into the spirit here.  My good friend Robyn suggested I paint a pair of shoes.
So here they are-Crackled Iridescent paints over my old black shoes.  I wore them yesterday and all my students think they're "So Cool" my family of three guys think "I'm nuts".
What do you think?
Thank you for stopping by* Hugs, Anna

Love your shoes! absolutely perfect, just what you need for your class.
it reminds me of the time i got a waistcoat and added felt yo yos and centered them with buttons, all for a kids class about felt monsters.
You go girl!

I think unique get's labeled nuts...and it's oh so sad! imagine the world where we all follow our own style whimsies! and not walk around like a bunch of clones caught in fashion traps! hehee...

i think your shoes are funky! and you are a gutsy lady for wearing them, and a creative soul for making them to begin with!

Your shoes are magical, Anna!! I think my kids would label me crazy too if I painted my shoes BUT, if I liked them, I wouldn't care. I'm with Carmelina...there are far too many sheep being slaves to the fashion trends. Individuality speaks for a creative soul. Good for you!
