Been soo busy

Hello blogging buddies,
I know it's been ages but my private life has been very busy with personal stuff taking over my 'ME' time including blogging time.

Wow, was I surprised to see dear hubby walk in the door with this beautiful bunch of red roses yesterday for Valentines Day. We've been together for nearly twenty nines years and we hadn't celebrated Valentines day ever!

This is a cushion cover I've just finished for my Mum.
Oops, I can't remember the designer, naughty me.  It came out of an older magazine.

This is the piece I'm working on at the moment.
The designs are from 'A Gardeners Journal by Anni Downs'
I decided to colour the design in using pencils then stitch the design.
I need a new pencil sharpener!
I hope to get around and visit you soon.
Happy creating,
Hugs,
Anna

Your roses are beautiful! Kev and I weren't get each other anything this year but I did get a smalll bunch of roses from him. Valentines Day is our anniversary for getting together. We've been together 10 years, married 8.
Love your new creations. The cushion is really pretty

Hi Anna
I don't think anyone needs to apologise for not blogging! Seems like a common complaint

Hey Anna! Lovely to hear an update from you ... we ALL understand how 'real life' can get busy and keep us from our 'fun' stuff, so no need to apologise! :0) It must have been a day for surprise roses ... I was surprised by my Sweetie too ... perhaps we'll keep them a bit longer! :0) nd love the projects you're working on - will be fun to see your GJ blocks finished, since they've been on my works in progress list for the last nine months! :0) Have a fab week - Bear Hugs!
