Just me

Hello friends,
Life is just rolling along here for me.
I don't know whats happened to my time management skills, they flew out the window some time ago.
Not much time to CREATE, make ART or blogging these days.

I have a dear friend of 40 years in her final days of life.  She has been strongly battling terminal cancer for 20 months, trying all the treatments without success.
Such very sad times for her dear hubby, family and friends.
It's very hard to function normally with my friend constantly on my mind from the time my eyes open until sleep comes at night.

I've also had a niggly, painful left elbow (yes, I'm a lefty) for a few months.
I decided I'd better see the Dr about three weeks ago who diagnosed 'Medial Epicondylitis' (Golfers Elbow)
No, I don't play golf~ha ha, It's a bit like Tennis elbow but on the inside of your arm.
The Dr suggested rest and to come back in six weeks for an injection of Anesthetic and Cortisone. Hm, That's scary. He told me of the dangers if the injection is inserted in the wrong place.
Well the rest is a bit hard when I live in a house full of men and my stupid elbow is getting worse.
Small things like wiping the bench, cutting vegetables and using the mouse on my computer gives me pain.
I've tried TENS machine and physio exercises with not much help.  Next week I'm seeing a remedial masseur and trying essentials oils.  Any suggestions please let me know...

Take care and let the ones you love know how deeply you love them and what they mean to you!
Hugs,
Anna

OH, Anna, I'm so sorry to read of your dear friend....my thoughts are with her and her family. It must be very emotional and heart-wrenching for all concerned. xo

I've been suffering tennis elbow symptoms but my Rheumatologist said it is more likely to do with the Rheumatoid Arthritis. I too am suffering a lot of pain doing simple chores and even lying in bed at night. You have my sympathy. Have you tried acupuncture? That's the only other thing I would suggest...it worked wonders for my daughter's injury when physio and other therapies failed. Good luck.

((((Hugs))))

Hi Anna, so sorry to hear you're going through sad times with your dear friend. She is so fortunate to have you to be there for her. Then to have that painful elbow also. I use a herbal cream for my back and neck pain called "Pain Be Gone" made by All Herbal Cures at Wallsend N.S.W. it's the only one that works for me. I also use a small Breville electric heat blanket that you can just wrap around the painful spot. I hope you can get some relief. Treasure the moments with your dear friend and take care Ana, hugs Robyn

Anna I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I recently lost a dear friend of 30 years. She was 90 so it wasn't unexpected but sad none the less. I've been using a concoction of oregano oil mixed into coconut oil for pain relief. The oregano oil is fairly expensive but it only takes a few drops mixed into the coconut oil. It helps instantly on contact and the results last for hours. Take care and have a nice weekend. Hugs

So very sorry about your friend Anna. I know that is got to be hard for all that love her. I'll be sure to keep her in my prayers.
I have arthritis and I found this topical cream by a company called: Chan Yat Hing Medicine Factory and is just called "Relieve Pain Cream" is kinda similar to Tiger balm but is has an analgesic effect, that really helps me. I found it in China town in N.Y. and I so wish I got more. Try the holistic thing before the shots.

Hi Anna;
I am so sorry to hear about your friend. It is such a difficult thing to see our loved ones suffer. I pray that the Lord blesses you with His peace during this time. I also pray for your friend that she is blessed with peace and just enveloped with the love and comfort only the Father can give. Big big hugs to you.
I have had to get a cortisone shot in my right shoulder for a tendanitus impingement ~ it helped a lot and now the pain is gone. It comes back when I do a repeated movement which involves my shoulder but the majority of the pain is gone.

So very sorry to hear about your friend, Anna. Life has a way of shifting our priorities drastically at times and that is why I say take life by the neck and live the moments to their fullest.
I hope your elbow gets better and you don't need that injection. I will keep you and your friend in my prayers.
Much love.
