Thank you for visiting my blog spot. I appreciate every one's visits and comments!
Brrhh- Its very cold, wet, and windy here in Melbourne today, so I cranked up the heater and spent the day in my studio playing.
This is my second bird in the series I'm painting at the moment.
I am now into my second week of "Art Journaling" with Kerryanne from Shabby Art Boutique and I'm loving it.
This page is a little bit about "ME" and my visit to Italy.

OMG......when I first looked at the bird I thought it was a photograph. It is really really lovely Anna and you have captured the bird very very well. You are such a fabulous painter :)
hugs
Vicki
I have been inside all day today next to the heater!! Too cold out for me!
Kingfishers are among my favourite birds...great job, Anna, on both the bird and your journal page.
Gorgeous work Anna don't know which one I love better :)

Wow, another amazing artwork. The wood of the branch the bird is on looks so real, you are so talented with a paintbrush Anna.

The bird is wonderful!!! It does look like it could spread it's wings and take off!
Kingfishers are the most peculiar bird--i love their slightly off-kilter proportions. All that beak and then the short body, but that lets them glide thru the water fast!
XXOO!!
Anne
Positively beautiful bird. The painting looks so real you have a wonderful talent. Love the journal page also.
Wonderful paintings Anna!! I love the crackle technique on the bird's branch! I have a design with a similar technique in a book that I've been meaning to try and now that I see it done, I really want to even more!

oh your birdy painting is gorgeous Anna!
I love how you did the crackle under it too, it's so realistic. I thought your painting was a photo at first!!!
Your bird painting is amazing! I thought it was a photograph!!
Art journaling is so much fun. I do it in spurts and streaks....either I do a page every day for several months or I don't do any at all.
Thanks for stopping by my blog to see my studio.
1 degree !!! OUCH! That is just a wee bit too cold. It is too bad we can't spread the temps all around the globe evenly and everyone could be comfortable all the time. That sounds good to me. (:
Keep warm, Anna Rosa.
